How to comment on a log entry
If you want to enter a comment on something someone has already posted in the Ship's Log, you intiate the process by clicking on one of two links. You may either click on the "Title" (headline) of the entry or you may click on the word "comments" at the bottom of the post.
In either case, you are taken to a screen that has the post itself and any comments that have been made. Below the last comment will appear a question in a headline type font. It will ask, "Something to say?"
If you are already logged in, you will see immediately below the question a statement that says how you are logged in. Below that will be a box for you to enter your comment.
If you are not logged in, immediately below the "Something to Say?" question will be the statement, "You must be logged in to post a comment." The words "logged in" are linked to the login dialog.
Once you are logged in, you can post comments to your heart's content. When you are entering comments, you do not have the option to upload pictures.
