Sad day at Harbor High

Hi …

The Newport Harbor High School alumni, staff, and friends meet each Thursday morning for breakfast together at Denny’s at Newport Blvd. and 17th Street in Costa Mesa.

This morning, everyone left Denny’s before eating to go over to the high school campus.

The wrecking/demolition of the older buildings, including the main building and the bell tower, commenced.

1. The Ayres Hotel is $139 for 2 people, queen or king bed. (You can put up to 4 adults in a room with 2 queen beds for an extra $10 per adult. Kids under 13 years are free.) It is clean, has 2 outdoor pools, a restaurant, and a small workout room. Seems to be the best deal in town! It’s at 325 Bristol. 800-322-9992. www.ayrescostamesa.com

I am looking forward to coming to 45 five, just got the card. I live in San Diego now, and still run an orphanage in Tijuana. A couple of classmates from NHHS have come down and seen the orphanage.

hi guys,

reminder–6:00 pm meeting Wednesday, May 16th at the Newport beach (shark island) yacht club next to the bal island bridge! (Park across street by bank)
We’ll see where we stand with rsvp’s, room choice, music, decorations, and food.  Bring cell phones in case we call a few folks (?) and any addresses/emails you may have for other classmates.
