I know this is asking a few of you a lot, but could someone please put names with the reunion pictures from the 40th.  I am unable to attend the reunions,  lost my yearbooks  and would love to see who’s who.

Sherrie Martin

Thank you

Looking forward to 45th

I am looking forward to the reunion on Aug 25. I am a newly wed and will be bringing my husband who has never been to a reunion, so be nice to him. I have a great photo of many of you–I won’t say where at this time–you will have to wait and see. Kathie (Hayden) Metz

sandi_time_new.jpgThe story in the Feb. 25 Sunday Tribune begins, “IT IS 17 years since one Irish boxer landed a whopping punch on Evander Holyfield’s jaw. One minute of glory, followed by almost two decades of alcoholism, depression and failed dreams. Now, after the release of a two-minute movie about that same Irish boxer, 38 million Americans suddenly want to know more about Seamus Patrick McDonagh from Co Mayo.

“It’s a short movie clip, shot on a whim by filmmaker Sandi Bachom, who recently bumped into McDonagh in the States and (more…)

Is there a way to find out when these mates died and from what???

Anyone heard from Vincent Healy??

okay–done deal–reunion at the NB yacht club (shark island for peter edward)–august 25th sat eve.  Bill Deanne  put his stamp on it too after having us check out lots of other places–but that makes me feel better, seeing that he’s our “treasurer”.    Nothing is cheap anymore–the old Tale of the Whale was even more money.  so there we have it.

Auguries good for 2007

In another time and place, the head of state would have sent to the Oracle, who in turn would have sacrificed a dove and divined prospects for the New Year by “reading” the animal’s innards.

Today, the sacrifice was not avian. It was a mammal from the Midwest. Specifically, a Wolverine from Ann Arbor. Reading of the entrails augurs a good year for 2007.

It was a little like the time when we were all at Harbor High. Then, (more…)

Celso Morrison asked for it. Others have suggested it. It’s a good idea anyway, and so here it is – the ship’s (b)log.

You don’t have to be Captain Kirk or Jean Luc Picard to make an entry. It’s not that kind of ship’s log. Just sign in and speak your peace, as long as it’s G – Rated.

You’re free to ask “whatever happened to …?” or reminisce or comment on the times. You can comment on other posts made by classmates by clicking on either the “Comments” link or on the headline for the posting to which you want to respond. This is your community. Enjoy it.

This (b)log is a place for shipmates to carry on conversations, swap stories, tell lies, catch up with each other, reminisce, exchange ideas and otherwise just “check in.”

We want to hear from you. All you need to do to get the ship underway is to register, cast off your mooring lines, and post an entry into the log.
